The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area each day. The services issue designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all sassa status check people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
